Directions
From downtown Vancouver, take Hwy 99 across Lion’s Gate Bridge and west onto Hwy 1 towards Whistler/Squamish. As you approach Horseshoe Bay, stay right to stay on Hwy 1 and then towards the ferry terminals (Gibsons/Langdale ferry).
Board the Langdale ferry (ferry bookings and rates with BC Ferries) to the Sunshine Coast. The scenic ferry ride is 40 minutes, and the ferry is a full service ship with many convenient amenities.
Disembark at Langdale and take the first left onto Hwy 101/Sunshine Coast Hwy and follow the signs for Gibsons/Sechelt. Continue along Hwy 101.
Just past the main turn off for the city centre of Halfmoon Bay, turn left at Brooks Rd. There is a large sign indicating the turn off for Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park. The first street to the right along the winding road is Secret Rd (approx 2km in).
Cottage and Suite at 9752 Secret Road.
The paved Secret road narrows and becomes a gravel road (follow treehouse sign) surrounded on both sides by thick trees and shrubs.
You will pass our neighbor’s cottage on the right and then arrive at 9752 Secret Cove Treehouse. Drive up our private driveway and park in any of the available “guest” spots. There is also additional parking along the right side of street just before the driveway.

Secret Cove Marina is located minutes from our property. They provide mooring services during the spring and summer months. Located on Chart 3512 – Straight of Georgia map, Halfmoon Bay can be found just between Sechelt and Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast.
There are endless inlets and islands to discover along this passage, and a wonderful destination for boat enthusiasts.

No, as we are tidal.
Our canoe is available for guest use between May 16th and September 30th. Outside of these dates, the frigid waters of the Pacific Ocean pose a extreme risk of hypothermia. Use of our canoes between October 1st and May 15th is strictly prohibited.
Yes, we provide one complimentary bucket; each additional bucket is $10.
